How do I change my listing status and what does each listing status mean?

At the top of your Listing Dashboard, you will see an option to update the Status of your listing website:

When the Property Website is ready, the Virtuance Team will send a listing publication email to you. At the time of publication, the Listing Status is automatically set as Published. This means that the website is live when we send it over! 

Here is a list of what the other statuses in the drop down menu mean, and how they affect your listing website's visibility. 

Please note, changing the status of your listing website will not affect the status of the listing on MLS.

Back on the Market: This indicates that the listing is back on the market after being taken off market. The website will be live online with this status update.

Coming Soon: This shows any viewers of the site that the listing is coming soon. The website will be live online with this status update.

For Lease: This shows that the property is for lease.The website will be live online with this status update.

For Rent: This shows that the listing is for rent. The website will be live online with this status update.

For Sale: This shows that you are ready for offers, and can indicate that your listing is live on MLS. The website will be live online with this status update.

Price Decreased: This shows that the listing price has decreased. The website will be live online with this status update.

Price Increased: This shows that the listing price has increased. The website will be live online with this status update.

Sold: This shows that the listing has sold. The website will be live online with this status update.

Under Contract: This shows that the listing is under contract. The website will be live online with this status update.

Inactive: This makes your listing website inactive. The website will not be accessible online after selecting this status.


Once you have selected the listing status, the status displays in the upper left corner of your Listing Website:
